Cyprus High Commission

Cyprus' rich history and vibrant culture through a diverse array of initiatives and events. We foster collaborations with cultural institutions, educational bodies, and universities to engage both the Cypriot community and the wider public in dynamic cultural exchanges. Our mission is to support emerging artists across various art forms, including music, theatre, fine arts, and film. We provide platforms for showcasing their work and facilitate collaborations with international institutions. At a pivotal moment for Cyprus, as it emerges from a period of intense crisis, we aim to position its cultural identity on a global stage through innovative approaches. Cultural diplomacy, although a relatively modern concept, has deep roots in international relations. In today's interconnected world, culture serves as a bridge of understanding, particularly for nations that rely on soft power rather than military or industrial might. Our focus includes conserving, promoting, and leveraging cultural and intangible heritage as a cornerstone of cultural diplomacy, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation. We welcome proposals from organized and informal groups alike to collaborate with the Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission.
