The Goethe-Institut up close: provide your students with a direct and personal look into the German language and culture. We would be delighted to welcome your school groups to the Goethe-Institut Glasgow.

  • basic or no previous knowledge of German

Activities:

  • Young Goethe Presentation
  • Goethe-Quiz
  • Film screening "Pünktchen und Anton" or German fairytale film


Target group:

  • S1 - S2
  • with at least one year of German classes

Activities:
  • Workshop on culture and society in Germany: Graffiti Workshop
  • Young Goethe Presentation
  • Goethe Quiz
  • Film screening"Pünktchen und Anton", "Almanya- Willkommen in Deutschland" or "Der ganz große Traum"


Target group

  • S3-6
  • with minimum 2 years of learning German
Activities
  • Workshop "Career with German"
  • Young Goethe Presentation
  • Goethe Quiz
  • Film screening,
    for example "Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage", "Soul Kitchen" or "Der ganz große Traum"

Registration

Depending on the age group and language level of your students, we will coordinate a visit with you. Please note the following:

  • The cost per student is £5.00
  • Participation for accompanying teachers is free

In order to plan a visit, please send an E-Mail with the following information: 

- Name of school 
- Number of pupils
- Age and language level of the school class
- Desired programme
