German Days London

The Goethe-Institut up close: provide your students with a direct and personal look into the German language and culture. We would be delighted to welcome your school groups to the Goethe-Institut London.

Target group: 

  • Key Stages 2-3
  • basic or no previous knowledge of German

Activities:
  • Workshop "German Taster Session"
  • Young Goethe Presentation
  • Library Hunt
  • Film screening "Pünktchen und Anton" or German fairytale film


Target group:

  • Key Stage 3
  • with minimum one year of learning German

Activities:
  • Workshop on culture and society in Germany (e.g. music, art)
  • Young Goethe Presentation
  • Library Hunt
  • Film screening "Als Hitler das rosa Kaninchen stahl", "Soul Kitchen" or "Die Pfefferkörner"


Target group

  • Key Stages 4-5
  • with minimum 2 years of learning German
Activities
  • Workshop "Career with German"
  • Young Goethe Presentation
  • Library Hunt
  • Film screening "Into the Beat", "Soul Kitchen" or "Der ganz große Traum"

Duration and costs

The duration of the German Days is from 10.15 a.m. — 15.30 p.m.. If times vary, this will be communicated in the specific German Day event.

Please calculate with the following group prices for a German Day:

1-25 students - GBP 125
26-50 students - GBP 250
51-60 students - GBP 350

Participation is free of charge for accompanying teachers.
