This year sees the 150th anniversary of Thomas Mann's birth. To mark the occasion, we invite you to join us for an enjoyable afternoon exploring some of the key stages in Thomas Mann's life. Embark on a short journey to places that were closely connected with the life of this great writer. Learn more about the people who were important to him and inspired his works. Feel free to bring along your favorite book by the author. You can test your knowledge with a short quiz at the end!

'Deutsche Runde' is an informal gathering and exchange around a chosen topic of German language or culture. It is ideal for learners with some knowledge of German (B1 and higher). This event is held in German and is hosted by Katrin Frahm.
