If you are a German Post-GCSE student who would like to carry on with German but do not have the opportunity, you could benefit from our excellent Young Learners' German blended Learning Course (AS-Equivalent, B1) which runs from 7 October until the end of December 2017.

The course will improve students' skills and boost their confidence in dealing with future assessment papers whether it is the A-level, Pre-U, Goethe Zertifikat B2 or TestDaF.

The course provides a thorough training in all skills that are required. Discussions and written exercises will focus on a wide range of topics relevant to all examinations. There will also be grammar input and revision to improve students’ accuracy in speaking and writing.

By completing this course students will be well prepared to start their A-Level Examination Preparation Course with us from January to the end of March 2018.

The course is designed as a Blended Learning course. This concept combines the flexibility of working autonomously with regular support from a Goethe-Institut tutor. There will be classroom sessions at the Goethe-Institut London every second week on a Saturday. In addition, students will be given access to our numerous online exercises and activities which they can complete in their own time and at their own pace. Our tutors will provide support during the online activities.

Blended Learning Course

5 Modules over 10 weeks
Goethe-Institut London
Classroom lessons on five Saturdays, 1.15-5.30 PM
Fee: £360

Our blended learning exam preparation course offers an excellent way to prepare for the A-level examination at British schools. Feedback from previous courses shows that students could improve their examination results, gained the desired marks and could study the subject of their choice or were able to obtain an Erasmus-grant to study on an exchange programme in Germany.

Opportunities for online exchange, collaboration and communication have never been greater, and as a result students spend more and more of their free time connecting with each other in online communities. We have created fantastic A-level exam preparation courses that recognise this fact and place German learning within a contemporary context.

Blended learning brings together the best aspects of the internet and enables students to learn in online contexts that are most conducive for learning together in groups, offering them the opportunity to prepare for their exams according to their demands and needs. Students can choose how intensively they would like to work on various modules, all of which contain exam relevant topics.
