Science is too important to be left to scientists alone. Thanks to modern technologies, there are now more opportunities than ever to actively involve people from all walks of life in research projects. This approach is known as citizen science or participatory research. Over the past 15 years, this concept has gained significant attention across Europe.

At our booth, we'd like to give you an insight into the world of citizen science. You'll learn what it's like to actively participate in research projects—whether it's counting butterflies in your garden or analyzing galaxies. Additionally, we'll introduce you to three EU-funded projects: Doing It Together Science (DITOs), EU-Citizen.Science, and European Citizen Science.
