The Goethe-Institut Glasgow is seeking an experienced moderator (freelance, fee-based) for our monthly event format Deutsche Runde, starting 1 February 2026.
About Deutsche Runde
Deutsche Runde is part of our library’s event programme and a welcoming space for anyone interested in German culture and language. The interactive format invites participants to engage in conversation and activities in German, guided by a moderator trained in teaching German as a foreign language (DaF).
Each session focuses on a different topic related to German culture, society or history. Alongside the learning aspect, the social element is important and in previous years it was a regular meeting place for a dedicated group of Germany enthusiasts.
The event is publicly advertised and open to all interested parties. Participants typically have a language level of B1 or above.
