Ulrike Ottinger - A Short Visit to London

Book Launch & Film Screenings

We are pleased to announce that renowned artist and filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger will be in London to attend the launch of the book Ulrike Ottinger - Film, Art and the Ethnographic Imagination edited by Angela McRobbie at the Goethe-Institut on 4 June and to be in conversation following a screening of her film Freak Orlando at the Barbican (Cinema 2) on 5 June.  In connection with these events, you will also have a chance to watch Ottinger's autobiographical film Paris Calligrammes at the Birkbeck Institute of the Moving Image (BIMI) on Friday, 7 June.
