Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival: Creative Showcase at Goethe-Institut Glasgow
Festival|Goethe-Institut Glasgow welcomes visitors during Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival
Not only our historic building is worth exploring! In line with this year's festival motto "The Visionary City" we invite you to be part of our version of Glasgow, a city that constantly re-invents itself through culture and international exchange.

Explore our historic building:
The premises of the Goethe-Institut Glasgow were designed in 1857 by Glasgow architect Charles Wilson. They are a remarkable example of mid-19th century architecture, featuring a series of terraced Italianate townhouses in a grand oval shape. Our lounge and our garden are peaceful places for a rest.
“Park Circus is a remarkable thing, a Roman piazza on a Scottish hilltop. Its balanced mass, its strong and simple decoration, make a lasting impression of magnificence." J.M. Reid: "Glasgow"
