Hanau – Remembering Means Taking Action
On 19 February 2020, nine people were murdered in Hanau for racist reasons. In their book, Çetin Gültekin and Mutlu Koçak tell the story of Gökhan Gültekin – born, raised, and killed in Germany.
This reading tour is a joint project for remembrance and justice. From 12–16 October, the authors will visit universities across Scotland with their book. Through readings, conversations, and dialogue, space will be created for reflection and exchange.
