German in Primary Education: Sharing Ideas, Gaining Inspiration, Sparking Enthusiasm
At the Primary German Day at the Goethe-Institut London, teachers and schools will come together to explore how children can be inspired by German and develop a love of language learning from an early age.
The day will provide an opportunity to discover new ideas, reflect on classroom practice and connect with colleagues. Through practical workshops, ready-to-use resources and engaging activities, participants will gain inspiration for German Clubs and for developing or expanding German provision in their schools.
Whether you are already teaching German in the primary phase or are taking your first steps, you will leave with practical ideas, new connections and renewed enthusiasm to take back to your school.
What to expect
Practical workshops with ideas and activities you can use straight away
Resources and materials to support German teaching in primary schools
Inspiration for setting up German Clubs and developing German provision
Opportunities to share ideas and experiences with colleagues from other schools
A motivating day focused on languages, learning and enjoyment
Who is it for?
The event is aimed at experienced primary German teachers, as well as teachers and schools looking to introduce, strengthen or expand German provision, including through German Clubs.
