Leseclub introduces modern German literature, which is already translated into Indonesian as well as Indonesian literature which has been translated to German to local book enthusiasts. Together, we will read the works of Judith Schalansky, Cornelia Funke, Michael Ende etc.

After its successful inception with Michael Ende’s Momo, Leseclub is back in October with a new book to read— “Inkheart” or “Tintenherz” by Cornelia Funke which was published in 2003. Cornelia Funke was considered as the “German’s J.K. Rowling” as her works ignite the reader’s imagination. This literary work has been adapted into the silver screen in 2009 with the same title. Meita Eryanti will review the book and at this Leseclub special edition, we are inviting Liga Film Mahasiswa (LFM) ITB to discuss the movie adaptation of the book.

In this reading group session, the audience will take turns to read one part of the book and have a dialogue about the read content. Puty Puar from the ‘Buibu Baca Buku Book Club’ will guide the discussion.

Registration is available until October 6th, 2021 through this link:
