The journey which took place from 8th to 21st November 2017 occurred with the slogan Life of Muslims in Germany. Special highlights of the program were the visits of the Sunnite Şehitlik mosque in Berlin-Neukölln and the Ibn-Rushd-Goethe mosque, which receives special attention since its founding because of its female imam and multi confessional bias. Further stations have been a visit of the Koran research project Corpus Coranicum, where scientists from the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities seek ways to reconstruct the original text of Koran as well as the visit of the Federal Foreign Office, where the tour group was welcomed by Heidrun Tempel, the Director for Research and Academic Relations Policy and Cultural Relations Policy.

After a successful completion of the journey and lots of positive feedback the Goethe-Institut Indonesia is scheduling to offer the program in 2018 again.
