Thelma and the Vixen

Thelma and the Vixen is part of the upcoming book “Doghead Chronicles” (Kronika Kepala Anjing, or Hundekopf Chroniken) by Nelden Djakababa Gericke. Thelma and the Vixen is one of the stories that is part of Kronika Kepala Anjing, a working title for a planned collection of interlinked stories told along Berlin’s Ringbahn system. The stories follow different women whose lives are somehow interconnected as they ride the S42 and the S41, those over-150-years-old circular tracks forming the shape of a dog’s head. It is written with the support of Arbeitsstipendien für nichtdeutschsprachige Literatur of the Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt, Berlin. The performance will be followed by an artist talk and mini-workshop where the audience would be invited to do some reflective-writing exercises.
