Dichter und Kämpfer (Poets and Fighter) directed by

It has to be self-written texts. Props and costumes are taboo on stage, Beatboxing is aloud.
Between subculture and mainstream: Poetry-Slam is becoming more and more popular in Germany - young poets compete each other on stage. Highlight of the year is the German championship – the greatest festival of the stage-literature in Europe.
Dichter und Kämpfer accompanies four young stars of the Poetryslam-scene during their journeys and performances. It is a document of extraordinary literary passions.
While following the four young celebrities, the film puts focus on their talents and ideals and their individual expectations upon their carrier and future. The movie captures moments, rather than showing chronological procedures.
