We are happy to invite you to the next installment of the ArtHouse Cinema program on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. This time we will screen the film called About a Woman directed by Teddy Soeriaatmadja.

64 year old widower Dayu has been living on her own for years. After losing a long-time housemaid, Dayu hires a boy who is only seventeen years of age. An initial tension growing from fear, uncertainty and awkwardness gradually evolves into sexual tension between Dayu and the boy. Teddy Soeriaatmadjas’ most recent work About a Woman tells the story of two strangers who are forced to live under one roof under unusual circumstances and paints a multifaceted picture of loneliness, sensuality and urban life.
