Master Class with Nicolas Fink
14 choral conductors from all over Indonesia have the opportunity to join a conducting master class with Nicolas Fink in collaboration with Swara Satata Çakti Student Choir University of Malang and Brawijaya University Student Choir in Malang.
During the master class, participants explore how to train a choir and learn about German choral repertoire such as Schütz, Bach, J.S Bach, Reger, Mahler, and Elgar.
The selected participants work with the university choirs of approximately 52 singers and focus on how to rehearse efficiently and improve the choirs’ skills while maintaining a positive rehearsal atmosphere. This setting corresponds to the realities of most amateur choirs and allows the participants to reflect their rehearsal technique.
Additionally, with an ensemble of 24 singers from the university’s alumni, the participants experiment with advanced rehearsal techniques.
