The applicants must have language proficiency at least A1, in order to participate in the programme: The lateral entry for those applicants with higher language proficiency is possible.

However, The applicants without the required language proficiency can basically take a course in order to reach the required level before the programme starts.

All language proficiency levels must be proven by a certificate, a confirmation of attendance or a placement test.
Following preparatory language courses and the TestDaF preparatory course, the TestDaF is taken within the framework of the Studienbrücke programme.
To study at a German university, prospective students have to prove a sufficient command of German at B2/C1 level. This proof can be obtained by successfully completing the TestDaF at level 4. The test comprises four sections: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression. The test can be taken at the Goethe-Institut Thailand or at another test centre near to where you live.
