German-American Virtual Exchange (GAVE) Webinars

GAVE (German American Virtual Exchange) is GAPP’s virtual exchange program. In this webinar you will learn how a GAVE enables you to offer your students a cultural exchange with a partner school in Germany without travelling, and about the framework, materials, and support available to teachers in this free program.

GAPP enables students at German secondary schools with active partnerships to study for a semester or full academic year at their U.S. partner school. This webinar is for U.S. coordinators and host schools, GAPP teachers in Germany, and German students considering a 5–12 month exchange after a short-term GAPP exchange. It provides a concise overview of the program structure, J-1 visa process, roles and expectations, and the support GAPP offers throughout the exchange.
