You can apply for a Goethe-Institut scholarship if you are a teacher of German as a foreign language or if you train or provide professional development for German teachers. This also applies if you are a teacher at a PASCH school.
About the Professional Development
The professional development courses take place at the Goethe-Institutes in Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Munich, and Schwäbisch Hall. In-person and blended learning formats are offered on a variety of topics, including:
- Improving German language skills and knowledge of German-speaking countries and cultures
- Methodology, teaching approaches, and lesson planning for German instruction
- Using digital media in the classroom
- Qualifications for teaching foreign languages to young learners
- Goethe-Institut professional development programs in Germany
