Birds in the Skies, Mycelium Under the Ground

Talking event|with Ma Thida, Ali Abdollahi and Aya Sammani, moderated by Kholoud Bidak

  • ACUD Studio, Berlin

  • Price free entrance
The literary panel “Birds in the Skies, Mycelium Under the Ground” explores how writers and artists create meaning and belonging through their work while living in exile. It examines the paradoxes of freedom and belonging in a world shaped by displacement. The discussion touches on how literature and art can help navigate the emotional and spiritual landscapes of exile. Featuring Ma Thida, Aya Sammini, and Ali Abdollahi, moderated by Kholoud Bidak, the panel offers personal perspectives on navigating life in exile, especially in Germany and the complex layers of identity, gender, and migration.
