TECHNO WORLDS
in New York
ON VIEW AT KNOCKDOWN CENTER:
The works presented at Knockdown Center are inspired by themes such as the history and sound of techno music, communities and network, techno and design, underground rave culture, and Afrofuturism.
ON VIEW AT THE GOETHE-INSTITUT NEW YORK:
The objects and installations on display at the Goethe-Institut approach the techno phenomenon from a feminist perspective and through the lens of cultural and musical history. Original fashion from the 90's and video installations will be on display.
