The recordings will also be forwarded to Goethe-Institutes abroad and cooperation partners for the aforementioned purposes. Purpose
We process your data in order to handle the application procedure for the funding of music projects, specifically the funding "TRAVEL GRANTS FOR ARTISTS FROM ABROAD TO PERFORM IN GERMANY" of the Department of Music.Legal Basis

The processing is based on being necessary for the fulfilment of legal obligations to which the Goethe-Institut is subject. We may process your data for identity verification, compliance with tax obligations and for documentation in the event of an audit by a public authority. - Name of the entering ensemble/artist

- social media entries (Facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, YouTube, Vimeo)
- music genre(s)
- Number of musicians belonging to the ensemble
- name, function, instruments and residence of all participating musicians
- travel data
- partners on site
- bank details
- cost/financing plan
- audio samples and video recordings
- Short biographies of the artists/ensemble
- other documents that you attach to the application
- information on previous contact with the music division of the Goethe-Institut
- Previous funding by the Goethe-Institut
- an identification number for your application (assigned by us)
- our notes on your application.
Transfer to third parties
Your personal data can be passed on to third parties. The recipients of your data may be the Advisory Board for Music, the Federal Foreign Office, German embassies abroad and other organisers in Germany and abroad. For the operation and maintenance of our technical systems on which the data is stored, we sometimes use external IT service providers, who can thus gain access to your data. These service providers are carefully selected by us and commissioned in writing. They are strictly bound by our instructions and are regularly checked by us.Transfer to a third country
Your personal data can be transferred to so-called third countries. These are the locations of the Goethe-Instituts abroad.
