The project proposes a co-production between Coletivo Gompa, from southern Brazil, and Ceren Oran & Moving Borders, based in Munich, to produce a performance for children that talks about the situation of climate refugees and overcoming environmental catastrophes. In the play, a girl loses her home and her pet in a flood in southern Brazil. At the temporary home, she makes new friends and shows us with her sweet and funny look what happened. The show explores the concept of multimedia theater for children, showing reality on stage, but also how the truth can be modified by the camera and editing perspectives. Show the child the surface of the city, but also what is below it. What makes the waters rise? The premiere of the show will be held in Germany and will continue on tour in 3 Brazilian cities extremely affected by the floods.
