New forms of diplomacy in foreign and security policy and changing geopolitical power relations – this EU-course invites you to explore current news from multiple perspectives. In dialogue with experts from politics, economics and academia you will gain insights into the demands of foreign and security policy in 2026 and the strategies Germany is pursuing in cooperation with the EU. The highlight of the course is participation in the EUROPE 2026 Conference – an exclusive event hosted by leading media outlets Die Zeit, Handelsblatt, Tagesspiegel and WirtschaftsWoche.

The one-week intensive language course offers a unique setting to refresh your German skills, expand your professional network and discuss current European policy issues with colleagues. In addition to the language sessions, you will take part in official meetings at various institutions tailored to your interests and prepared within the course framework. A varied cultural program complements the experience.

Your stay in Germany is preceded by a digital preparation phase, including two mandatory live online sessions in the days before arrival and self-study assignments. This ensures optimal preparation for the in-person course and allows you to get to know the other participants in advance. The digital preparation requires approximately 4 hours of time.
