PLOT

Red Love weaves together a camp adaptation of the novel A Great Love by the Russian revolutionary Alexandra Kollontai with an interview featuring the German artist Helga Sophia Goetze. In this film, Rosa von Praunheim pays tribute to two feminists who each in her own way and in her own time fought for radical forms of free love against the oppression of bourgeois and patriarchal society.
