Our collection specializes in the following subjects: literature, German learning, film, theater, dance, comics, electronic music and green architecture.
We aim to be complementary to the collections found in other local libraries. Thusly, some segments of our collection is limited to works published in German when similar works in French or English can be found in other local libraries.
For example, our collections include books on German history published in German. If necessary, we can direct you to other local libraries for documents on German history in French or English. Another example: on our shelves you can find the complete works of Nietzsche in German only, the French version being available from the Grande Bibliothèque (BAnQ).
