for primary German

Online

This fun-packed session will explore how to use sounds, songs, and movement in a primary German classroom.
Teachers will be able to take away lots of great ideas about how to combine learning with musical fun; ranging from simple rhymes, musical games and songs to addressing more significant cross curricular subjects such as climate change. No musical background is required.

Speaker
Martina Schwarz, originally from Cologne, is a London-based songwriter/ musician, educator, choir leader and performer. She holds a degree in education and has long-standing expertise as a music and German (MFL) primary teacher. Martina has always believed that music is an excellent vehicle for language learning, since language in itself is music with its own rhythm and intonation. She tours her interactive song programme "Learn German with songs" at primary schools around the world.
