In the year of the 100th anniversary of the legendary Bauhaus art school, this documentary celebrates its ideas, practices and legacy. A historical look at a utopia, it takes us from the original Bauhaus building to visionary contemporary projects such as the project of the architects' collective Urban Think Tank in Latin America or a school in Denmark, for which Copenhagen based designer Rosan Boschas developed a new kind of class room. The Bauhaus spirit lives on in a continuous reflection on how we want to live and how we can achieve a better society through art, design and architecture.

Germany 2018, 90 mins. With English subtitles.
Directors: Niels-Christian Bolbrinker, Thomas Tielsch
