Arrival City at Granby Market
Arrival City presents a portrait of Liverpool, and more specifically Toxteth, as a city of immigration. The project aims to open up conversations about immigration in Liverpool and to improve the popular discourse around migration. The Granby Four Streets Market is a part of the Granby Four Streets CLT, whose aim is to create a thriving, vibrant mixed community: building on the existing creativity, energy and commitment of the residents, and acting as a reflection of the cultural mix of the area.
On Saturday 6 April Arrival City comes to Granby Market, setting up shop and offering a space for exchange. Come and learn more about the project, and share your own stories and experiences to become part of this collaborative archive. There will also be musical and poetry performances from artists commissioned by the Arrival City project, alongside the amazing Granby Market line up!
