Come join us for a special A-Level German Day this December! The Goethe-Institut London has teamed up with King’s College London to offer an exciting insight into contemporary German culture and film:

Through talks and workshops, participants will learn more about modern German immigration history, focusing on Turkish-German perspectives through various workshop activities, discussions and a film viewing.

The day will look as follows:
  • Setting the scene: Talk/workshop on modern German history 
  • Exclusive film viewing: “Es brennt” by Erol Afsin (Important note: This film includes depiction of racist abuse, violence (non graphic but indicated), and derogatory racist language): ES BRENNT Trailer I Neues Deutsches Kino I FFMUC 2023
  • Understanding and Reflecting: Workshops and retrospective 
 
Important Note:
This event will be a repeat of the Special A-Level Day held in March 2025. Please ensure that your cohort did not attend the March session before registering.

Timings: 10:45 (arrival)- 16:00

Group prices:
1-25 students – GBP 125
25-50 students – GBP 250
51-60 students – GBP 350
Participation is free of charge for accompanying teachers.
