The European Day of Languages is all about celebrating Europe’s rich linguistic and cultural diversity and encouraging lifelong language learning. This year’s theme,“Languages open hearts and minds,”reminds us how languages connect people, spark new ideas, and open up new perspectives.

German Clubs
Start your own German Club with our Starter Kits, which include a handbook for club leaders (digital or print), gamified learning challenges, badges, and awards tailored to different age groups. 

Culture Days with European Languages
Celebrate languages and cultures in your school with our Culture Day Package, a free resource developed by the Institut Français, the Consejería de Educación en el Reino Unido, and the Goethe-Institut UK for NCLE. It includes detailed teacher guides and creative ideas for a fun and memorable school-wide event.

Do you want to bring topics to life in your German classroom such as "Berlin - Capital of Female Scientists"? Then borrow aposter exhibition free of charge from the Goethe-Institut! The teaching material is suitable for all language levels and can also be used independently from the exhibition.
