- Part of series: Earth Month 2026 - Cultures of Action
In this hands-on workshop, children will learn how to take care of our beaches through play and imagination.
They will explore a mini beach with sand, seashells, and pretend water. Then—surprise! While their eyes are closed, Catherine adds waste and debris to the beach.
When they open their eyes, it’s cleanup time! The kids work together to find and remove the waste, learning how fun (and important) it is to keep our beaches clean. A joyful, hands-on way to care for the ocean.
The participants will also enjoy a storytelling and make their own seascape to take home.
Age: 0-7 y/o children
The presence of a parent is compulsory for kids under 8 (Parents go free).
