Earth Month 2026 is a collaborative initiative between Goethe-Institut Glasgow, Institut Français d'Écosse, and Alliance Française Glasgow, aimed at fostering cultural exchange and climate action through the lens of artistic and cultural practice. This programme unites France, Germany, and Scotland in a dynamic, multidisciplinary dialogue around sustainability, with a particular focus on the role of oceans and rewilding.

The project combines a 3-week long artists travel residency with a public programme of expert discussions and artisitc interventions,  running from mid-April to mid-May, with Earth Day on 22 April as a focal point for this initiative.

Through a collaboration between the Goethe-Institut Glasgow, Institut français d'Écosse, and Alliance Française Glasgow, Earth Month 2026 brings together artists, thinkers, and changemakers to showcase the role of culture in addressing sustainability challenges and climate action, strengthening ties between France, Germany, and Scotland.

Join us for a month of inspiring events, creative dialogue, and collective action for a greener future - we look forward to seeing you!
