The Wonolelo FKKP and a member of JPB from Wonolelo have been working together for 10 years to ensure that more women are involved in budget planning and thereby involved in development from village level up to the district level. Between 2014 and 2016 the FKKP analysed the budget and expenditures of Wonolelo with regard to the role of women, supported by the law UU Desa No.6/2014.

In 2014, 14 million rupiah were provided for bolstering the role of women.

Since the FKKP has been proactively working with the village administration, it is involved in the program planning for Wonolelo. The financial resources for strengthening the role of women have increased as required every year since then. In 2015 more than 45.2 million rupiah were provided for furthering the role of women. In 2016 the figure rose to more than 126 million rupiah.

The financial resources for the empowerment of women were allocated as follows:
  • Support for the PKK (Organisation for the Empowerment of Women) at village level
  • Support for the activities of the FKKP
  • Promotion of the PSN program
  • PMT posyandu (food provision in medical care centres)
  • PMT PAUD (food provision in facilities for early education)
  • Bonus for medical care centres
  • Training and education
The activities of the medical care centres for the elderly are not yet financially supported but rather are currently still supported by care centres for small children.

Founded on 13 June 2007, the Wonolelo FKKP has the following vision: “To realise justice and gender equality on the way to an intelligent, democratic, civilised and independent company.”

The vision is reflected in the three objectives of the FKKP:

  • Influence on public policy, in particular on budgeting to benefit everyone but above all women and children.
  • Solve problems in the areas of health, education and economy.
  • Increase knowledge and skills of women.
