The exhibition 'Para Sekutu yang Tidak Bisa Berkata Tidak' (translates as The Acquiescent Allies) is like an all-time favorite song list. It presents a selection of works from the collections of Galeri Nasional Indonesia, Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin, MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum, and Singapore Art Museum, remixed in the spirit of contemporary solidarity. How do works from the past relate to our lives today? With stories!

Artworks and the ways in which they are arranged in an exhibition can be interpreted in different ways by different viewers. This three-day, small-group workshop is organized to compile various stories related to Para Sekutu…. Participants are invited to record their stories and publish them in a short podcast (5-7 minutes long).
