Here you will find a selection of current international and national open calls and opportunities (i.e. competitions, prizes, exhibitions, awards, proposals, residencies and grants) across art forms for artists, creators, translators and makers to participate in exciting international programmes.

Residencies: PACT Zollverein: Deadline - 25/02/2021

The PACT residency programme for the development of artistic projects and productions is entering a new round. The current call for applications for the period from mid-August to mid-December 2021 is linked below. The deadline for applications is February 25, 2021.

Open Call: Forecast. Deadline: 28/02/2021

Artists and creatives from a wide variety of fields are invited to apply with project ideas that can benefit from the expertise of one of the mentors. Successful applicants receive a production budget and a fee for the mentoring.

Call for Applications: i-Portunus

Between December 2020 and April 2021 i-Portunus is launching five open calls for proposals for artistic mobility, which can take place between June and the end of November 2021. These calls are aimed at artists, creatives and cultural workers in the fields of music, literary translation, architecture and cultural heritage.
Final open calls on music and cultural heritage, with deadline on 15 April. Parallelly the open calls for literary translation, music and architecture are open respectively until 28 February and 14 March 2021. 

Apply by 01/03/2021 for projects beginning in the 2nd half of 2021 THE ART OF BRINGING EUROPE TOGETHER

Allianz Kulturstiftung seeks projects of a translocal nature, meaning that partners from different countries or different regions collaborate. They are interested in projects at the interface of the arts and digitalization which develop participatory and inclusive offerings

Theater Digital: Fellowship 02-06.2021. Bewerbungsfirst -10.03.2021

The call for applications is adressed to artists, technicians and post-graduate fellows who have a keen interest in researching artistic-technical relations within digital narratives in theatre spaces, as well as putting those into practice. We are hoping for applicants who want to research and work with digital methods (e.g. Motion Capturing, Coding, MR, VR, AR, Robotics, Computer Sciences, Sound, Film, Interaction Design et al) in different areas of the performing arts sector.

Applications on a rolling basis MUSIC: VIRTUAL PARTNER RESIDENCIES

In reaction to the resulting changes in working conditions in the music scene, the Goethe-Institut has created this virtual residency programme with a view to maintaining and reinforcing international exchange and collaboration. Funding for virtual partner residencies is now available to arrange for international musical collaboration projects.
