Scholarships for Further Training in Germany

The Goethe-Institut is happy to offer a number of scholarships to teachers of German. The offer is aiming at German teachers just embarking on their career, as well as at teachers expanding their knowledge in general. Those who train German language teachers are also able to benefit from the variety of courses.

Our courses take place at various Goethe-Institut locations around Germany between January and December 2021. Depending on your professional requirements you can choose from one of the following options:
  • Further language training - available for both primary and secondary teachers;
  • “Landeskunde” (cultural and regional studies) seminars – suitable for all teachers;
  • Further training in methodology and didactics – catering to those who would like to refresh their knowledge;
  • Online advanced training in methodology and didactics – for those who are not able to travel to Germany;
  • Further training for German tutors – designed for those who train German language teachers.
