Jen lives with her girlfriend Pim in a small flat in Bangkok. To pay her rent, Jen sells herself and her company to strange men for a night. Whether it's time, intimacy, sex or companionship. Jen spends sometimes several days with her clients. When one of her encounters threatens to escalate, local bartender Wason intervenes and defuses the situation. Jen and Wason grow closer, and for a brief moment, Jen feels genuine human affection for the first time in a long time.
One day later, however, Jen has disappeared without a trace in the urban jungle of Bangkok. Desperate, Pim and Wason embark on a seemingly hopeless search.
Funeral Casino Blues tells a story about social inequality, abuse of power and nightlife in Bangkok.

The film had its World Premiere at Biennale Cinema 2025, 82nd Venice International Film Festival
Awards: IFF Mannheim-Heidelberg 2025, Honourable Mention, International Competition
Nominated for the Avolon World Cinema Award @DIFF 2026.

A hot, sultry summer night in eastern Germany.
The setting is an ancient, remote farmstead. The film tells the story of four protagonists spanning four generations.
From little Alma, who cannot shake the thought that she too will die after finding a photo of her deceased sister ‘Alma’. Erika, who dangerously loses herself in her fascination with her disabled uncle. Angelika (Lena Urzendowsky), who has to stand up to her abusive uncle. And Nelly, who has just moved from Berlin to the countryside with her parents.
Rough and sensual at the same time, the film tells of the transgenerational traumas of young women and their stories in patriarchy.
An unforgettable cinematic experience that seeks to show how the past can influence the present.

The multi-award-winning film has already been shown at numerous film festivals including New York Film Festival 2025, BFI London Film Festival 2025 and Sarajevo Film Festival 2025. Also, it was shortlisted for the 2026 Academy Awards.
Nominated for the Avolon World Cinema Award @DIFF 2026.

A film within a film. During the turbulent filming of a controversial remake of Medea in Senegal, actress Maja flees into an affair with her co-star Nourou. Months later, at the film's premiere in Berlin, the two meet again. Old feelings flare up, but a racist incident clouds their reunion. As the ancient tragedy comes to a head on screen, a contemporary drama unfolds.

Screened at the Hamburg Film Festival 2025, Zürich Film Festival 2025 and Viennale 2025 et.al.
