On two dates in November, we would like to introduce literary translators to Culture Moves Europe, a new funding opportunity in the cultural sector. Culture Moves Europe is a new project to promote the mobility of arts and culture professionals, fully funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
With a total budget of €21 million over three years (2022-2025), up to 7000 grants will be awarded, it is the largest EU-funded scheme for individual artists* and cultural practitioners to date.
Areas funded include architecture, visual and performing arts, design and fashion design, cultural heritage, literary translation and music.
Culture Moves Europe is designed to give arts and cultural practitioners the opportunity to carry out self-initiated projects to develop or deepen international working relationships.
The Culture Moves Europe team of the Goethe-Institut offers two appointments in November to present the project, the call for applications and the application criteria for interested literary translators in German in more detail. The dates will take place online via Microsoft Teams:
