Everyone has experienced first-hand that growing up is not easy. Be it for teenagers or their parents, there is almost always a point where things snap. Jason (Jonas Dassler) has barely survived a serious skating accident. Since then, the relationship between him and his mother Marlene (Anke Engelke) has been put to the test. Despite his accident, Jason still feels invincible, but Marlene wants to protect him more than ever. Without further ado, she decides to drive Jason across the country to rehab in Switzerland. A turbulent joint journey into their past, into the future and to themselves begins, at the end of which the question arises of how much fear one can allow and how much one has to risk in order to enjoy freedom.
