RAPT by Benjamin Richter @ UpDown Circus Festival

Benjamin Richter playfully dances with paper and unfolds moments of fleeting poetry. Using the tools of contemporary juggling, he creates a tragicomic journey of associations that subtly explores the themes of consumerism and responsibility. Human and object, care and waste, transience and crumpled matter become intertwined. With humour and subtle insight, RAPT reflects on the human desire for “more” and transforms paper, excess, and transience into a sensitive, playful portrait of our time.
