Join photographer Mark Römisch for the official launch of Bauhaus New England: Portraits of an Architectural Legacy(Hirmer Publishers, Fall 2026), hosted by the Goethe-Institut Boston, where the project's initial idea first emerged eight years ago.

Through contemporary photography, the book explores how Bauhaus ideas took root and evolved in New England through the interplay of architecture, light, material, and landscape.

The evening will feature a presentation of selected large-format photographs, followed by a conversation with filmmaker Christopher Brown (The Bauhaus Legacy Project) and invited guests on the enduring legacy of the Bauhaus in New England.

The program concludes with a reception, book signing, and an opportunity to purchase first-edition copies before the book's official bookstore release.
