Pre-Register Online German examiner training 2024

Please note that, in general, it is required for examiners to have C1 language skills (C2 skills for the C2 exam), and any exceptions to this must be approved by the Goethe-Institut. Additionally, you should have a DaF (German as a Foreign Language) qualification or equivalent and teaching experience (at the respective level). The examination multipliers reserve the right to request any necessary evidence if needed.
Please only participate in examiner training sessions that correspond to the level you actually work with and have experience in at the examination center. Please clarify with the person responsible for exams at your institute which exams you should participate in for the examiner certificate. Initial training sessions are aimed at new and inactive or inexperienced examiners. Refresher training sessions, on the other hand, are aimed at experienced examiners (guideline: participation in exams at least once per semester in the past year).
After registering, you will receive a registration confirmation within one week. The invitation to the training session is usually sent on the Friday before its start.
