The Goethe-Team San Francisco is happy about the successful event

50 years Goethe-Institut San Francisco: we celebrate this special day with an Open House. More than 300 guests joined us. Cultural highlights were the poetry slam performances of Julia Engelmann and Mighty Mike McGee. The concerts of the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars ensemble and the Senior Orchestra of the German International School Silicon Valley also delighted the audience. Art workshops, Brecht for Kids, the Poetry Room and the beer garden completed the program.

50 years Goethe-Institut San Francisco also highlights the particular importance of the German-American friendship, which we will continue to actively support in the coming years and decades.
