The GOAL Sports Camp is an activity-based German language program for schools, designed for German learners in the United States and Canada. The project was developed especially for learners at the CEFR A1 and A2 levels and can be flexibly adapted to different age groups and learning needs. GOAL Sports Camps create opportunities for movement, collaboration, and language learning while encouraging students to experience German together in a motivating and engaging environment.
Using the provided GOAL Box, teachers and their students organize an interactive rally featuring sports stations and German-language challenges. Students learn the language actively through movement, teamwork, and playful activities. After completing the Sports Camp, schools can participate in the GOAL Sports Camp Olympics and earn points throughout the school year for a chance to win a trip to Germany.
The GOAL Sports Camp consists of two interconnected components: the Rally and the Olympics. Each serves a different purpose, and together they create a comprehensive learning experience.
The Rally is the core introduction to the GOAL Sports Camp. Students work their way through ten different stations, completing activities in German. The focus is on vocabulary, grammar, movement, and teamwork.
