J-1 Visa Sponsorship for Secondary School Students from Germany within the GAPP Network

Discover how the German American Partnership Program (GAPP) opens the door to a semester or full academic year in the U.S. for secondary school students from Germany, ages 15 to 18.

As a BridgeUSA sponsor organization recognized by the U.S. Department of State, GAPP is authorized to sponsor J-1 Secondary School Student visas for eligible German students attending schools with an active GAPP partnership. This pathway allows young students to strengthen their intercultural competencies, deepen transatlantic friendships, and gain invaluable academic and personal experiences. Importantly, GAPP is one of the most affordable programs of its kind, making long-term study abroad accessible to more students and families.

This webinar is designed for:

• Students from Germany who are considering an extended stay (5–12 months) at their U.S. partner school as well as their parents
• American coordinators and host schools in the United States
• GAPP coordinators n Germany interested in expanding exchange opportunities
