Circus residency Buzz and APCC
There are two artist residencies in total: a two‑week residency at Roca Umbert (near Barcelona) in January/February 2027 for a circus company based in Germany, and a two‑week residency at CircusMühle Kelbra in September 2026 for a circus company based in Catalonia.
The aim of this exchange is to increase the visibility of Catalan circus in Germany and of German circus in Catalonia, as well as to foster dialogue and collaboration within the sector in both countries.

Note: To receive these payments, the company must issue an invoice to APCC.
At CircusMühle Kelbra, the company will have access to:

- 18.-31. January 2027 or
- 1.-14. February 2027
- The residency is designed for a maximum of three people and includes:
- Round‑trip travel
- Accommodation with cooking facilities
- A daily stipend of 100 €/day
- Use of a rehearsal space and available technical equipment
Artist Residency in Germany
Period: 3–17 September 2026
Financial Conditions:
- APCC covers the following costs (for up to three people):
- Round‑trip travel from Barcelona to Kelbra
- Daily allowance (40 € per person per day for 14 days)
- Residency fees (60 € per person per day for 14 days)
Note: To receive these payments, the company must issue an invoice to APCC.
At CircusMühle Kelbra, the company will have access to:
- Accommodation in an apartment at CircusMühle Kelbra
- A rehearsal space and technical equipment (see technical conditions below)

Artist Residency in Germany
- Contemporary circus creators or companies based in Germany
- A professional track record with at least one premiered project
- Full availability during one of the two residency periods
- Maximum group size of three people
- Ability to work under the given technical conditions
- Preference will be given to projects that have already completed other residencies or development phases prior to applying. Projects still in the research phase or at a very early stage of creation will not be selected.
Artist Residency in Germany
- The company must have its fiscal residence in Catalonia and be able to issue invoices for residency fees and daily allowances.
- The company must have already presented at least one professionally produced piece.
- Full availability during the residency period (3–17 September 2026).
- The residency team may consist of a maximum of three people.
- Priority will be given to projects in an advanced stage of development that have already completed other residencies. Projects in the research phase or at a very early stage will not be selected.
