Earth Month 2026
Cultures of Action
About the Project
Earth Month 2026 is a collaborative initiative between Goethe-Institut Glasgow, Institut Français d'Écosse, and Alliance Française Glasgow, aimed at fostering cultural exchange and climate action by connecting artistic and cultural practice with scientific discourse. This programme unites France, Germany, and Scotland in a dynamic, multidisciplinary dialogue around sustainability.
In April and May, you are invited to join us for Earth Month 2026, comprised of two weeks of expert discussions, workshops and creative perspectives, as well as a 3-week artist travel residency which brings together artists, thinkers, and changemakers to showcase the role of culture in addressing sustainability challenges through workshops, film, discussions, and more.
The collaboration between the Goethe-Institut Glasgow, Institut français d'Écosse, and Alliance Française Glasgow opens a space for cross-cultural exchange on climate action, strengthening ties between France, Germany, and Scotland.
Join us for a month of inspiring events, creative dialogue, and collective action for a greener future. Stay tuned for the full programme and be part of the movement!
