Registration via E-Mail
Please enquire via E-Mail, if there are places available for the dates you wish to book. We will then inform you of your exact examination date and you will be asked to supply any other additional information we may require from you.

Provisional Confirmation
Within 3 days of registering by E-Mail, you will receive confirmation of your reservation with details of payment dates.

Final Confirmation
As soon as we receive your payment, you will be sent final confirmation of your booking via E-Mail.

Enrolment deadlines
For examinations, you must have registered for the scheduled registration dates.
Examination places are subject to availability.

Please note: Exams may be booked out early, in which case you may have to wait for the next available place at a future date.

Cash and Card Payment
Please always make complete payment in cash in advance of the examination date. Please refer to and respect payment deadlines.

Bank Transfer
When making payment please remember to state the number of the course or exam participant to enable us to locate payments. Please also send a copy of the payment transfer receipt (PDF or JPG) by E-Mail to,  in order to guarantee your place.
Please note: If you have reserved an examination, the payment should be completed 3 days prior after you receipt the temporary statement from us. Otherwise the Goethe-Institute is entitled to offer the place to another student.

  2. Examination dates are published on the homepage of the Goethe-Institut Bandung.
  3. Interested parties must contact the Language Course Office by writing an E-Mail to: with “Application for the examination" in the subject line.
  4. The Language Course Office will send an automatic reply email with a registration form.
  5. The candidates who may be admitted to the examination will receive a written confirmation with information on the payment options.
  6. Payment methods are: cash, debit and credit card and bank transfer.
  7. Those interested in paying the examination fees in cash or with debit/creditcards are kindly requested to come in person and give the completed registration form with a copy of their valid identity card or passport.
  8. Those interested in paying the examination fees by bank transfer must return the completed form with a copy of their identity card or passport. In the following days they have to wait for a written confirmation, which gives the information about the participant number, which has to be indicated as reff. The transfer voucher with personal data: Full name, participant number, exam, must be returned afterwards.
  9. If your application is successful, you will receive an invitation to take part in the examination.
  10. By registering, the examination participants (in the case of minors, their legal guardians) confirm that they have taken note of and accept the Exam Guidelines, the Terms and Conditions for Exam Administration.
  11. Group registration (for more than 10 participants) can be considered upon written request. 
Cancellations and Refunds
  1. There is the possibility to cancel the examination; however, there is no entitlement to reimbursement of examination fees that already paid.
  2. The application for withdrawal must be made in writing and in a meaningful manner at least 3 days before the date of the examination of the representative for language courses and examinations. As a result, the fees paid will be credited for the following examination date.
  3. If the examination is aborted after the start, the examination shall be deemed not to have been passed.
  4. If an examination is not started or is aborted after it has started and reasons for illness are claimed, proof of this must be provided immediately by submitting a medical certificate to the representative for language courses and examinations. 

Examination Conduct
  1. The candidates may only enter the examination venue upon presentation of the invitation to the examination and a valid identity card or passport.
  2. Mobile phones, laptops, tablets and other electronic devices must be switched off and must be given to our staff. Return is only possible at the end of the entire examination.
  3. The supervisor shall provide practical guidance, such as completing the reply form and other audit arrangements. 

Publication of test results
  1. Examination results will be published at the latest one month after the examination date.
  2. Test results are closed. The procedure for appeals against the examination result is governed by the examination regulations.
  3. You can inform yourself online about your examination results either through the online query or
